The State Budgetary Healthcare Institution (GBUZ) The Republican Oncology Dispensary of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania is a medical institution in Vladikavkaz, the capital of North Ossetia . It has been operating since 2017. Located in the industrial area of the city.
The structure of the dispensary has a polyclinic department with a diagnostic service, a pharmacy and a 24-hour hospital .

History
The building of the new medical institution of the republic was built on the site of the old, emergency building [1] [2] . Construction began in 2008, lasting 9 years. From the very beginning, the new institution was ready to receive about 400 patients. The lack of modern equipment made it difficult to identify and, especially, treat cancer at an early stage. About 100 million rubles were immediately allocated for the purchase of modern equipment for the clinic [3] .
The head of North Ossetia - Alania, Vyacheslav Bitarov, spoke at the opening ceremony of the institution. He noted that strengthening medical care for cancer patients is the most important direction of the republican healthcare.
“But no matter how we equip and whatever buildings we build, it all depends on those people who work in the medical facility. Therefore, I ask you to treat patients with all care and concern. And we, for our part, will do everything to increase the level of wages of doctors and nurses ” [4] .

Development
In 2019, it is planned to open a Center for Nuclear Medicine on the basis of the Republican Oncology Center . Now there are only two such centers in the North Caucasus: in Stavropol and Krasnodar. Vladikavkaz will be based in one of the oldest buildings in the city - the building was built at the end of the nineteenth century. Its technical parameters were approved by a special commission: the construction meets all the requirements for the installation of modern medical equipment.
According to the chief physician of the oncology dispensary Aslanbek Besaev [5] , “the center of nuclear medicine provides for two components: this is a pharmaceutical production plant and the devices themselves that perform diagnostic tests: PET-CT and SPECT - CT” [6] .
