Biography

Born in 1909 in the village of Novosyolki, now the territory of the town of Shilovo in the family of a peasant Gryzunov Fedor Grigoryevich. Russian. From an early age he was introduced to agriculture, helping parents both in the field and on the farm and in his homestead. In childhood, an accident occurred with him, a horse ran over, partially lost his hearing, speech was disturbed. Over time, the consequences decreased, but Ivan Fedorovich was a member of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf and took part in the 1st Regional Congress in 1957.

In 1929, at the age of twenty, he joined the Shilovsky collective farm as a milkmaid. He worked there until 1959, when he was forced to resign due to disability. However, on April 3, 1965, he resumed his work on the farm. He was the first male milkmaid who was not inferior in terms of professionalism, and sometimes even superior to the advanced milkmaids of the region. His name began to appear constantly in advanced reports.

In 1948, his work was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.

In 1956, in the Ryazan region, livestock breeders committed themselves to milk 3,500 kilograms of milk per cow on average. Ivan Fedorovich managed to significantly exceed this figure by bothering 5766 kilograms of milk from each fixed cow.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 7, 1957, Ivan Fedorovich Gryzunov was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle medal for the achieved production indicators in the development of livestock production, the widespread use of science and best practices in cow breeding.

In the 1950s, thieves climbed into the house of the Hero, who stole all the awards of Gryzunov, the police managed to find enemies, but not everything was returned stolen.

He worked until the last day of his life. He died on May 10, 1969. He was buried at the Shilovsky cemetery.
