Zvi Ram (born November 3, 1955) is an Israeli neurosurgeon, head of the neurosurgical center of the medical center. Surasky (Tel Aviv) , professor at the School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University .

Biography
Zvi Ram was born in Tel Aviv in the family of journalist Elimelah Ram. In childhood, starred in the film "Eight After One" (1964) [1] .
He graduated from the medical faculty of Tel Aviv University in 1979. After an internship at the hospital, Sheba served as a doctor in the Israel Defense Forces until 1985.
He specialized in neurosurgery at Sheba Hospital and received a license from a neurosurgeon in 1991.
In 1991-1994. completed an internship in the USA and worked as a senior doctor in the department of neurosurgery of the National Institutes of Health of the USA
From 1994 to 1993, he worked as a senior doctor in the neurosurgery department of Sheba Hospital (from 1999 he was deputy head of the department).
Since 2003 - Head of the Neurosurgical Center at the Medical Center. Surasky (Tel Aviv).
Since 1995 - lecturer in neurosurgery at Tel Aviv University.
In 2000 he received the title of assistant professor , and in 2011 - professors [2] .
Scientific work
Published about 200 articles in medical journals. Their main theme is neurooncology [3] . He is a member of 15 professional organizations in the USA, Israel and the EU countries. Member of the editorial board of medical journals Cancer Gene Therapy, Neurological research, Molecular Medicine Today, Neuro-Oncology [4] .
Family
Professor Rama's wife is a doctor. The spouses have 2 daughters. The family lives in Ramat Gan . Brother Hagay Ram - Professor, Department of Middle East University. Ben-Gurion ( Be'er Sheva , Israel).
