Meyniman Pervoe ( azerb. Birinci Meyniman , also translated as Birinji Meyniman ) is a village in the Meiniman administrative-territorial district of Adzhikabul region of Azerbaijan .

Etymology
The village comes from the dialect version of the Persian word mehman (guest, arrival) and the first numeral [1] .
History
The village was founded as a gang by migrants from Iranian Azerbaijan, who arrived on the Kura shore for fishing.
The village of Meiniman in 1886, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Baku province, belonged to the Abdulian rural community of the Jevat district [2] .
By 1911, the village already belonged to the Shamakhy district [3] .
In 1926, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Azerbaijan SSR, the village belonged to the diving Sabir-Abad of the Salyan district.
After the reform of the administrative division and the abolition of counties in 1929, the Kalinovsky Village Council was formed in the Karasuinsky district of the Azerbaijan SSR . Later, the district was abolished, the village became part of the Ali-Bayramli district, but in 1939 the village was transferred to the Kazi-Magomed district.
On December 4, 1959, the Kazi-Magomed district was liquidated, and the village was transferred to the Ali-Bayramlinsky district.
According to the administrative division of 1961, the village of Meiniman Pervoe was part of the Kalinovsky village council of the Ali-Bayramlinsky district of the Azerbaijan SSR [4] [5] .
On April 24, 1990, the village was transferred to the newly formed Adzhikabul region.
In 1999, administrative reform was carried out in Azerbaijan and within the Meiniman administrative-territorial district, the Meiniman municipality of Adzhikabul region was established, which included the village [6] .
Geography
Meimanim Pervoe is located on the banks of the Kura .
The village is located 2 km from the center of the Meiniman municipality, 22 km from the Adzhikabul district center and 135 km from Baku . The nearest train station is Mugan.
The village is located at an altitude of 19 meters below sea level.

In 1886, 410 people lived in the village, all of them were Azerbaijanis, and Shiites were Muslims.
The population is mainly engaged in the cultivation of grain, cotton and gourds, as well as breeding animals and birds.
Climate
The village has a semi-desert climate .
Infrastructure
In Soviet times, a dairy farm was located near the village [8] .
