The length of the river is 13 km [3] . It takes a source at the northwestern foot of Dalniy Zubets Mountain [4] , flows in the latitudinal direction, and flows into Yagolvayam .

The hydronym is probably of Koryak origin; its significance has not been established [5] .

To the right of the river mouth, archaeologists have discovered the site of the ancient man Ayitin , whose dating has not yet been determined [6] .
