Short Biography
He graduated from Suleiman High School in Bentong and the Pedagogical College in Kuantan . He worked as a school teacher, in 1973-1980 - an employee of the Council on Language and Literature of Malaysia . He was the editor of Rita magazine. In the early 1980s began to make films, including on television [2] . In politics, he adheres to leftist views. In the 1970s He was a supporter of the People’s Party of Malaysia, currently a member of the Parti Amanah Negara party, a member of the ruling Nadezhda bloc.

Cinema and Theater
He directed four feature films and starred in two [3] . The greatest success was in the picture “She is my mother” (1980), which received 10 awards at the Malaysia Film Festival in 1981 (a record not yet surpassed so far) [4] .
In the 2000s began to play in theatrical productions of Dinsman ("Theater on a Tree", 2016, "Uda and Dara", 2017).
Literature
He writes mostly poetry. The first poem, "The Oath of Oath," was published in 1968 in the journal Mastic. The poem "Fish in the aquarium" (1971), in which he advocates freedom of creativity, brought him fame in the country and region. He published three of his own poetry collections (2012, 2015, 2019) and participated in collective anthologies. One of the initiators of the “Pilgrimage of Writers” movement, in the framework of which visiting literary festivals are held in various parts of the country.
