The General Counting Commission is a financial and audit body, which, along with the General Treasury Chancellery, was created by the government of the Russian Empire to establish control over the Hetman . The Commission was founded in 1734 with the organization of the Board of the Hetman Government, it controlled and audited the tax breakdown of hundreds of regiments and the process of receiving money from them, recovering arrears. To this end, collected monthly information from 10 regimental commissars, regimental counting commissions (1742-1776), 20 commissioners for the collection of "ruble composition" (1765-1782); checked income from rank estates and state estates, monitored the circulation of money and material resources. During the years 1750-1765, she worked as an audit body of the Hetman, first subordinate directly to the hetman , and from 1760 to the general treasurer. Since the fall of 1765, it was subordinated to the 2nd Little Russian Collegium . Canceled in 1782 in connection with the introduction of governorate .
