Biography

He studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1855-1864). During his studies he was awarded medals: small silver medals (1860 and 1862), a small gold medal (1863). He graduated from the Academy of Arts in 1864 with the title of class artist of the 1st degree for the program β€œBuilding for a vowel court proceedings” . After graduation, assigned to the TSK Ministry of Internal Affairs. Then he worked in the construction department of the St. Petersburg provincial government (1867-1873), in the City Administration - a technician for the examination of the Vasilievsky part (1873-1901). Academician of architecture - since 1867 for the project "Monastery" .

In 1870 he became one of the founders of the St. Petersburg Society of Architects .

In 1880 - architect of the city credit society. Vowel of the City Council. Lived on Kazan Str., 3.

In 1883 he was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 3rd degree.

In 1902 - official of special assignments of the V class under the Minister of the Interior . Produced as a valid state adviser. On October 23, 1901, he was dismissed by petition.

From 1904-1917 - a supernumerary technician of the Technical Construction Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs . Since 1914 - member of the Technical Construction Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Built 23 apartment buildings, a number of mansions (1873–1903); the mansion of G. F. Mengden (30, Palace Embankment, perestroika. 1877–78), the apartment building of A. A. Zaitsev (Furshtatskaya 11, 1880–1881); the buildings of the infirmary of the Provincial Zemstvo (1891–1899) and the shelter of the Nikolaev Orthodox Brotherhood (1901) - all in St. Petersburg; The building of the officers meeting of the Cuirassier regiment in Gatchina.
