Biography
Most of his playing career Toresen spent in one of the leaders of the local hockey - “ Volerengue ”. With this team, he several times became the champion of the country . Finished his career striker in the " Storhamar ".
For many years Thoresen was called up for the Norwegian team . Together with her, he participated in ten World Championships and four in three Winter Olympics : 1980 , 1984 , 1988 and 1994 .
After completing a career Thoresen took up coaching. For several years he led the country's youth team. In 2009, the specialist became a mentor to the club " Stavanger Oilers ". [1] During his work with the club, he managed to win the Norwegian championship six times, and in 2014, for the first time in the history of the team, he won the Continental Cup with her. Family
