Ibrahim Bey Bichaku ( Alb. Ibrahim bej Biçakçiu ; September 10, 1905 , Elbasan - January 4, 1977 , ibid.) - Albanian political, state and diplomatic figure. The Prime Minister of the collaborative government of Albania (September 7, 1944 - October 25, 1944) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Chairman of the Interim Executive Committee of Albania (September 14, 1943 - November 4, 1943).

Biography

Born in the family of an influential Albanian politician. He studied at a commercial school in Austria . He graduated from two faculties of the Vienna Academy of Trade with a degree in agronomy and political science . He was fluent in German, Italian, Turkish, English.

Returning to Albania, after the death of his father, he was engaged in managing the family business. Large landowner. He was among the founders of the Italian-Albanian company Albiger .

Engaged in political activity since 1937. Member of Bally Combetar . Founder of the Albanian National Party.

In 1937-1939 and 1943-1944 he was a member of the Albanian parliament. Chairman of the Interim Executive Committee of Albania (September 14, 1943 - November 4, 1943).

During the German occupation of Albania from September 7, 1944 to October 25, 1944, he served as Prime Minister of the Albanian collaborationist government and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

After the Communists seized power in Albania, he did not leave the country. He was arrested on December 6, 1944 in Shkodra . In April 1945, the Special Court sentenced him to life imprisonment. In December 1945, his prison term was reduced to 30 years in prison. He was serving his sentence in a prison in Burrell .

In 1962 he was released. He worked as a cleaner in a public toilet, a simple worker.
