Biography
He was born in 1920 on a farm Miguta Yeisk section of the Kuban-Black Sea region in a peasant family. Russian.
After completing tractor courses, he began to work at the Staro-Derevyankovskaya MTS.
Member of World War II. After demobilization, he returned to his homeland and began to work in his MTS.
During the harvesting season of 1951, on the combine “Stalinets-1” he managed to achieve high production indicators in 25 working days threshed 7279 centners of grain and 477 centners of grass seeds.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 13, 1952, Ivan Yakovlevich Grinko was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle medal for outstanding production achievements and high results on threshing grain.
After the reorganization of MTS in 1958, he continued to work on the collective farm "Russia".
He lived in the village of Staroderevyankovskaya, and in recent years he lived in the village of Privolnaya. He died on September 9, 2000.
