Biography

Ryabikov Alexander Zakharovich - a peasant by birth, was born in the city ​​of Cherepovets in 1909. Voluntarily joined the Red Army in the party recruitment. He was an ideologically convinced communist.

Serves in artillery units. As part of the artillery headquarters in 1939, he developed a plan of operation on Khalkhin Gol . He is one of the developers of strategies for major battles of the Great Patriotic War , including the Crimean offensive operation , the Battle of Stalingrad and others.

In 1941, he was in the position of head of the department for operational-organizational measures and accounting, as a major.

In this position, he participates in the development of a battle strategy in the Battle of Moscow , which took place from September 30, 1941 to April 20, 1942. The battle plan was divided into 2 stages: defensive and retreat. During the Moscow defensive operation, several front-line defensive operations were also carried out: Naro-Fominskaya , Tula , Vyazemskaya , Mozhaysko-Maloyaroslavetskaya and others. During these years he was awarded the medal “ For the Defense of Moscow ”.

In 1943 he became chief of the 3rd department of the artillery headquarters, headed by Lieutenant General Samsonov F.A. [3] with the rank of colonel.


After 1945 he served in various headquarters.

After the 1970s, he completed his service as Deputy Head of the Directorate of the General Staff of the USSR [4] .
