Geography

The village is located in the south-east of the central part of the Pskov region, within the Bezhanitskaya Upland , north of the Rubezhenka River, at a distance of about 19 kilometers (in a straight line) to the south-south-west (SSW) from the urban-type settlement Bezhanitsy , the administrative center of the district.

Climate

The climate is characterized as transitional between typically marine and continental with high humidity ^[2] .
