The village is located in the south of the central part of the Pskov region, within the Bezhanitskaya Upland , at a distance of about 12 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west-north-west (WNW) from the urban-type settlement Bezhanitsy , the administrative center of the region.

History
Until 2010, the settlement was part of the now abolished Makhnovsky volost , from 2010 to 2015 it was part of the rural settlement of Porechenskoye .
