The author of a number of plays (Nauchgrad, Terenty Ivanovich, Boldinsky Autumn). Member of the Union of Writers of the USSR since 1939.

The plays were staged on the stages of Leningrad and Moscow theaters, so “Terenty Ivanovich” was staged back in 1937 on the stage of the Leningrad Comedy Theater by Nikolai Akimov .

The play “Boldinsky Autumn” about the self-titled period of life of A. S. Pushkin, first staged in 1969, and in 1974 filmed by the Leningrad television of the USSR as a film-play, gained the greatest popularity [2] [3] . [four]

... how is the Pushkin theme reflected in the Pushkin Theater ? New performance “Boldinskaya Autumn”. This “idea of Pushkin in 3 acts”, written by artist Yu. Svirin and staged by director R. Goryaev , was a notable event in theatrical life. The performance of Leningraders can not be attributed, as has happened more than once in similar cases, to previously familiar and, moreover, unoriginal scenic illustrations for Pushkin’s biography. He enriches the Pushkinian of our art with the courage of creative pursuit.
