Kew Bulletin is a peer-reviewed quarterly international scientific journal on taxonomy, taxonomy of plants and mushrooms, the official press organ of the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew . The magazine is published by Springer Science + Business Media, an international publishing group, on behalf of Kew's Royal Botanic Gardens. The journal publishes materials on nature conservation, palynology, cytology, anatomy, phytogeography, phytochemistry and evolution in the context of plant taxonomy and taxonomy. There is a section with book reviews and notifications of upcoming publications. Materials published in the journal are accompanied by graphic illustrations and photographs. [A]

History
The magazine was founded in 1887 under the name “ Kew Bulletin of Miscellaneous Information ” ( Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew ). The new botanical magazine was organized by William Tiselton-Dyer , director of the Kew Botanical Gardens at the time. The magazine was created with the aim of facilitating the exchange of information between the botanists of the metropolis from Kew Gardens and nature researchers from remote parts of the British Empire, special attention was paid to materials on plants of important economic importance.
