Description

Located on the left bank of the White River at the confluence of the Balza River, 14 km north-east of Kumertau , 10 km south of Meleuz and 210 km from Ufa .

Along the western outskirts of the village, the P240 Ufa - Orenburg road passes, connecting the village with both nearest cities, 1 km south of the village the road east to Mrakovo (to Sibay ) departs from it. Nearest railway. the station is located in the village of Karan (7 km north-west, on the Ufa-Orenburg line).

The village was founded between 1873 and 1896, presumably by people from the neighboring village of Bugul'chan (2.5 km to the southeast). Since 1984, subordinated to the administration of the city of Kumertau [2] .

The village has a secondary school, kindergarten, FAP, library [2] .

Sightseeing: Marfo-Mariinsky Women's Monastery ( an object of cultural heritage from the beginning of the 20th century).
