Biography

In 1878, after graduating from high school, he entered the service. In 1880, after graduating from the Warsaw Infantry Junker School, he was promoted to ensign and issued to the 68th Infantry Regiment at Borodino . In 1882 he was promoted to second lieutenant, in 1886 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1892 to the staff captains , in 1898 to the captains .

Since 1904, a participant in the Russo-Japanese War , company commander. In 1908 he was promoted to lieutenant colonel ; since 1913 he was the headquarters officer of the Borodino 68th Infantry Regiment.

Since 1914, a participant in the First World War , Colonel . Since 1915, the commander of the 431st Tikhvin Infantry Regiment [1] . By the highest order of August 21, 1915, he was awarded the St. George Arms for courage [2] :

 For the fact that on May 6, 1915, as the head of the combat area, he stormed the strongly fortified Kurshany farm, which was an important enemy location, which contributed to the occupation of the entire town
