In 1929-1931 taught at the Conservatory of the Music Society in Krakow . In 1932 he received the third prize of the Chopin International Piano Competition . In 1933, he won at the International Piano Competition in Vienna, ahead of Dina Lipatti , which is why Alfred Corto, who supported Lipatti, announced his withdrawal from the jury. After this success, Cohn began an international touring career, performed in France, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary and Romania, and gave many concerts in Poland, including in the programs of the Society for the Music Movement aimed at promoting music in the provinces. However, the busy schedule of performances prevented the musician from being systematically treated for severe depression, as a result of which he committed suicide.
