The village is located in the central part of the Oryol region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the central part of the Central Russian Upland , at a distance of about 29 kilometers (as the crow flies) to the west-north-west (WNW) from the urban-type settlement of Zalegoshch , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 232 meters above sea level [2] .
