Games ( Spanish: Gámeza ) is a small town and municipality in central Colombia , within the Boyaca department. Included in the province of Sugamuksi .

History

The settlement from which the city later grew was founded in 1585. The municipality of Gamez was separated into a separate administrative unit in 1811 [1] .

The city is located on the eastern side of the department, in the highlands of Eastern Cordillera , east of the Chicamocha River, about 63 kilometers northeast of the city of Tunja , the administrative center of the department. The absolute height is 2742 meters above sea ​​level [2] .

The municipality of Games is bordered in the north by the territory of the Municipality of Tusco , in the east and west by the municipality of Corrales , in the south-west by the municipality of Topag , in the south by the municipality of Mongua , in the east by the municipality of Sokota . The area of ​​the municipality is 88 km² [1] .

Economics
