Games ( Spanish: Gámeza ) is a small town and municipality in central Colombia , within the Boyaca department. Included in the province of Sugamuksi .

History
The settlement from which the city later grew was founded in 1585. The municipality of Gamez was separated into a separate administrative unit in 1811 [1] .
Geographical position
The city is located on the eastern side of the department, in the highlands of Eastern Cordillera , east of the Chicamocha River, about 63 kilometers northeast of the city of Tunja , the administrative center of the department. The absolute height is 2742 meters above sea level [2] .
The municipality of Games is bordered in the north by the territory of the Municipality of Tusco , in the east and west by the municipality of Corrales , in the south-west by the municipality of Topag , in the south by the municipality of Mongua , in the east by the municipality of Sokota . The area of the municipality is 88 km² [1] .
Population
According to the National Administrative Department of Statistics of Colombia, the total population of the city and municipality in 2015 was 4856 people [3] . The dynamics of the population of the municipality by years:

According to the 2005 census, men made up 50.5% of the Gamez population, women - 49.5%, respectively. In racial terms, the entire population of the city was white and mestizo [4] . The literacy rate of the entire population was 89.7%.
Economics
59.6% of the total number of urban and municipal enterprises are trade enterprises, 30.7% are service enterprises, 9% are industrial enterprises, 0.7% are enterprises of other sectors of the economy [4] .
