Robert Odongkara ( born Robert Odongkara ; September 2, 1989 ) is a Ugandan footballer , goalkeeper of the Ethiopian club Adama City and the Uganda team .

Content

Club career

Robert began his career at the Villa club, in which he became the champion of Uganda. Then he played for URA and the Ethiopian St. George .

Speaking for the club from Addis Ababa , Odongkara won the championship five times, twice the cup, and also five times was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the championship. In October 2018, Robert moved to Adama City [1] .

Team Career

On March 3, 2010, the goalkeeper made his debut as part of the Uganda team in a friendly match with the Tanzanian team [2] . He took part in the matches of the KESAFA Cup 2010 , including in the winning meeting for third place against the national team of Ethiopia [3] . He participated in the qualifying tournament for the World Championships 2014 [4] [5] [6] and 2018 [7] .

January 4, 2017 Robert was included in the final application for participation in the African Cup of Nations 2017 [8] . At the tournament in Gabon, Odongkara took part in one match of his team, which flew out after the group stage [9] .
