Biography
Born November 26, 1957 in Athens.
He studied at the Law Faculty of the University of Athens , and later graduated from the Theological Institute there.
On November 20, 1993, Archimandrite Christopher (Papadopulo) was tonsured as a monk at the Monastery and on December 1, 1993, Metropolitan Sergius of Syvena (Segalas) was ordained to the priesthood [2] .
On May 28, 1995, Metropolitan Damascus (Karpafakis) was ordained a hieromonk . In 1996 he was appointed priest of the church of St. Nicholas in Patisie .
In 2000 he was appointed secretary of the Holy Synod of the Hellenic Orthodox Church.
On October 5, 2012, by the decision of the Holy Synod of the Hellas Orthodox Church he was elected to ordain Metropolitan of Nikopol and Prevez [3] . On October 6, in the church of St. Nicholas in Acharna, he was consecrated as bishop.
On November 22, 2012, the rite of enthronement was held in the Church of St. Nicholas in Preveza , and then in the church of Saints Constantine and Helena, in which the Archbishop of Athens Jerome and a number of metropolitans took part.
