St. Nicholas Cathedral (St. Nicholas Church) - a stone church in Kudymkar , a monument of urban planning and architecture of the Perm Territory . Pledged in return for a wooden church in 1796. St. Nicholas Church was built by order of Count A. S. Stroganov . Initially, the church was two-altered: in the name of St. Nicholas and the martyr Paraskeva, but later, in 1812, the third chapel was also built in the name of the forty martyrs of Sebastia . The throne in the name of St. Martyr Paraskeva was consecrated on February 24, 1804 by His Grace Justin, Bishop of Perm and Yekaterinburg. Two days later, on February 26, the second throne in the church of St. Nicholas of Myra was consecrated by the same bishop. The throne in the name of St. forty martyrs consecrated on August 11, 1819. The temple was closed in 1930. At first, the club housed in its building, and since 1943 - the museum of local lore. In 1990, the building was transferred to the church community. Since 2014, after the formation of the Kudymkar diocese, St. Nicholas Church received the status of a cathedral.
