Igor Boraska ( Croatian Igor Boraska ; born September 26, 1970 , Split , Croatia , Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian rower and bobsleigh player . Bronze medalist of the 2000 Olympics in the competition of eight . World champion, two-time silver, as well as a bronze medalist at the world championships in rowing .

Sports career
Career rower
Igor Boraska as a rower took part in three Olympiads : 1996 , 2000 and 2004 [1] . At the Olympic Games in Atlanta, the Croatian Four from Borask in the line-up could not qualify for the final, and in the consolation final race ahead of all their rivals, thus taking the final 7th place in the tournament.
As part of the Croatian eight athlete won a bronze medal at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney [2] . Four years later, at the London Olympics, Boraska took part in the competitions of fours, but his team, having reached the semifinals, took the last place in his second run and was unable to compete for awards [3] .
In 2010, the Croat decided to end his sports career [4] .
Bobsledder career
As part of the Croatian team Boraska took part in the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City - in the fourth competition, representatives of the Balkans took only 26th final place [5] . Igor Boraska became the first representative of Croatia, who participated in both the summer and winter Olympics.
