David Schneider is an Israeli obstetrician-gynecologist , gynecological oncologist, professor , head of the department of oncological gynecology at Asaf ha-Rofe Medical Center .

Biography
He began his medical education in Italy , at the University of Bologna , and continued it at Tel Aviv University , which he graduated in 1977. In 1983, he received a license from an obstetrician-gynecologist, defending a thesis on the topic: “Ultrasound measurement of fetal growth parameters for assessment his gestational age and weight. ”
He completed an internship in oncological gynecology at the University of Cincinnati ( Ohio , USA ) in 1984-1986.
Since 1986, he worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Asaf ha Rofé Hospital as a senior doctor, then as the head of the Department of Oncological Gynecology.
Since 1995 - lecturer at Tel Aviv University [1] .
In 2000 he was awarded the title of professor.
In January 2019, Professor Zvi Vaknin was replaced by Professor Schneider [2] . Member of the Israeli, European and International Oncological Gynecology Societies. He works in the Assuta clinic, is a consultant physician at the Maccabi Health Insurance Fund [3] .
Scientific work
He is the author of 68 scientific publications. Topics of scientific research - treatment of complications of pregnancy and childbirth, diagnosis and treatment of infertility, treatment of ovarian cancer and other oncogynecological diseases [4] .
