Biography
In 1891, after graduating from the Lovici Real School, he entered the service. In 1892, after completing officer courses at the Alekseevsky Military School, he was promoted to second lieutenant and released to the 14th artillery brigade. In 1896 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1900 he became captains of staff . In 1904, after graduating from the Officer Officer School, he was promoted to captain , participant in the Russo-Japanese War .
Since 1912, lieutenant colonel , commander of the 2nd battery of the 14th artillery brigade. Since 1914, a participant in the First World War , at the head of his battery. In 1915 he was promoted to colonel . Since 1916, the commander of the 1st division of the 19th and 14th artillery brigades. Since 1917, he commanded the heavy artillery division and the 206th artillery brigade.
By the highest order of January 13, 1915, for bravery, he was awarded the Order of St. George , 4th degree [1] :

After the October Revolution in 1918, he participated in the White Movement in eastern Russia. He was captured, and then served in the Red Army .
