Eugene Vladimir Markov (born November 8, 1973 , Abat , Tyumen Oblast , RSFSR , USSR ) is a Russian political figure . Member of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the VII convocation since April 4, 2019 , member of the State Duma Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection, member of the LDPR faction [1] .

Biography
In 1996, he graduated with a degree in Accounting and Audit from the Tyumen State University , after which he studied at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation . In 2004, he underwent retraining under the program “State and Municipal Administration” at the Ural Academy of Public Administration [2] [1] .
From 1994 to 1998, he held senior positions in commercial banks. From 1999 to 2000 he worked in the administration of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug as a deputy chairman of the economic policy committee. From 2000 to 2002, in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug economic policy department as a deputy director of the department, until 2004 he worked in the investment, science and technology department of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug as a director. From 2005 to 2007, he held senior positions in commercial structures involved in the export of timber. In the period from 2008 to 2009 and from 2014 to 2015 he worked in the limited liability company “Partik Management Company” as a director for strategic development [3] .
In 2007-2008 - Deputy of the Duma of the Soviet District of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug At the same time he was the first deputy head of the district. Since 2008, he has been chairman of the Association of Loggers and Woodworkers of the Tyumen Region [3] .
In 2009 he joined the LDPR . Since 2011 - Member of the Duma of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra of the 5th and 6th convocations, was elected according to party lists of the LDPR. He was the head of the LDPR faction in the regional Duma, deputy chairman of the Duma committee of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug on budget, finance and tax policy. He performed parliamentary powers on the job on an intermittent basis [3] .
In September 2016, he ran for the State Duma of Russia of the VII convocation according to the lists of the Liberal Democratic Party, at the same time he was nominated for the State Duma in the single-mandate constituency. According to the results of the elections, he took fifth place in the single-mandate constituency; as a result of the distribution of mandates by lists, he did not go to the State Duma [3] .
On March 27, 2019, by a resolution of the CEC of the Russian Federation, Markov was given the vacant mandate of Vladimir Sysoev , who had early resigned his parliamentary powers in connection with the appointment of the deputy governor of the Tyumen region [4] . In the State Duma of the VII convocation, he is a member of the State Duma Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection [1] [2] .

Married, has four sons.
