History

In 1870 - 1873 during the construction of a railway between Zhitomir, Kovel and Brest in the Volyn province , 7 km from the village of Kivertsy (now Prilutskoye ), a railway station was built. In 1890, the Ministry of War of the Russian Empire laid a railway through Kivertsy. Later, a railway line was built from Lutsk to the state border with Austria-Hungary, and Kivertsy station became a railway junction.

During the First World War, the station was a transport hub, providing supplies to the troops of the South-Western Front .

During the civil war and the Soviet-Polish war, the station was damaged, but then it was restored and resumed operation.

During the fighting of the Great Patriotic War and German occupation (from July 2, 1941 to February 1, 1944), the station was damaged, but was later restored. In 1952, lines to Rivne, Kovel and Lutsk passed through the station [1] .

In 2003, the station was electrified.
