Single skaters born no earlier than January 1, 2004 and no later than December 31, 2006, as well as greenhouses and dancers born no earlier than January 1, 2000, will be allowed to participate in the tournament.
In total, 76 people took part in the competitions (38 young men and 38 girls), 16 of them were singles, 10 sports and 12 dance couples. Moreover, the maximum quota from one country was 12 people (6 boys and 6 girls), that is, in each form a maximum of two participants / pairs.
Qualification
The nationality of the majority of participants was determined by the results of the 2019 World Junior Championships . Those countries whose athletes won prizes at the World Championships had the right to exhibit two participants / pairs in the competition in the appropriate form. At the same time, if the athletes of a country took more than one prize in the championship, then the maximum quota still remained in two places. The remaining quotas were selected by one participant from each country according to the places occupied at the junior championship.
The remaining 4 places among singles and 3 in doubles will be distributed according to the ISU rating and the performances of the athletes in the Grand Prix series among juniors of the 2015-2016 season. If the representatives of Switzerland (the host country of the competition) did not qualify in the usual way (at the 2019 World Junior Championships the Swiss did not receive a single license), then the Grand Prix will be allocated 1 place less in each form. Who specifically will represent the country at the games was determined by each National Olympic Committee independently, taking into account age restrictions for participants.
