Game career
He started his career in the team of “Bolnisi Cobeci”, later he played for the Tbilisi club “Army”. He made his debut in the national team of Georgia in the 2012 European Nations Cup match against Spain [4] , and also participated in test matches at the end of the year. The Sharks club that showed interest in him signed the player on August 15, 2014, and Shalva played in the championship of England in the season 2014/2015 [5] . Member of the World Cup 2015, spent 4 games, did not score points. November 11, 2015 moved to the end of the 2015/2016 season in the Scottish Glasgow Warriors [6] .
In the 2016/2017 season, Chalva replaced three French clubs - Montpellier, Toulon and Carcassonne, being the medical joker of the teams. He did not gain a foothold in any of these clubs, since no one had extended his agreement [1] . For some time he played for the Tbilisi Lokomotiv and the Japanese Sunwolves. In the season 2018/2019 on loan he played for the Russian club Yenisei-STM, playing in the European Challenge Cup [7] .
