Biography

In 1909, after graduating from the Vilna Military School , I was promoted to second lieutenant in the 1st category and released to the 108th Infantry Regiment in Saratov . In 1912 he was promoted to lieutenant . In 1914 he graduated from the Nikolaev Military Academy in the II category.

Since 1914, a participant in World War I , an officer of the General Staff as part of the 20th Army Corps . Since 1915, the headquarters captain , a participant in the Masurian battle during which he was surrounded in the area of ​​the Augustow Forests , refusing to surrender, escaped from the encirclement.

Since 1916, the senior adjutant of the headquarters of the 2nd Army Corps , took part in the offensive of the South-Western Front . June 21, 1916 was killed in battle near the village of Brodek. July 14, 1916 buried at the Bratskoye cemetery in Moscow .

Posthumously, by the Highest Order for the Armies and Navy of April 10 and May 5, 1917, he was awarded the St. George Arms and the Order of St. George of the 4th degree for courage.
