History

  • July 12, 1706 - Formed in St. Petersburg from recruits and soldiers of regular regiments.
  • July 21, 1706 - Emperor Peter the Great commanded the St. Petersburg chief commander, Major General Bruce , to recruit the Kulikov Nevsky infantry regiment, which was in St. Petersburg with personnel.
  • March 10, 1708 - Nevsky Regiment.
  • February 9, 1711 - Nevsky Infantry Regiment.
  • February 16, 1727 - the 2nd Vladimir Infantry Regiment.
  • November 6, 1727 - Nevsky Infantry Regiment.
  • November 29, 1796 - Nevsky Musketeer Regiment.
  • October 31, 1798 - Musketeers Lieutenant General Prince Volkonsky 1st Regiment.
  • January 26, 1800 - Musketeer Lieutenant General Prince Gorchakov of the 1st Regiment.

  • August 29, 1805 - 6 companies were expelled to the formation of the Vilna Musketeer Regiment.
  • February 22, 1811 - Nevsky Infantry Regiment.
  • 1829 - Creation of the 1st Infantry Division as part of the Nevsky, Sofia, Narva and Koporsky regiments.
  • January 28, 1833 - The 1st Marine Regiment entered the regiment.
  • May 24, 1833 - the 2nd battalion of the former 1st Marine Regiment transferred to the Kaluga Infantry Regiment, and in return received the 1st battalion of the former 3rd Marine Regiment. Named Nevsky Sea Regiment.
  • January 20, 1846 - His Majesty the Infantry Regiment of the King of Neapolitan.
  • May 19, 1859 - Nevsky Infantry Regiment .
  • April 6, 1863 - the 4th battalion and the permanent 5th and 6th battalions were dismissed for the formation of the Nevsky reserve infantry regiment.
  • March 4, 1864 - Nevsky Infantry Regiment .
  • March 25, 1864 - the 1st Nevsky Infantry Regiment .
  • May 4, 1867 - The Greek King George I became the regiment's chief, the regiment received the name of the 1st Nevsky Infantry Regiment of His Majesty the Hellenic King Hellenes , and the shoulder straps were put on a monogram - two crossed letters "G".
  • 1892 - Regiment transferred to permanent deployment in Roslavl.
  • March 28, 1913 - After the assassination of George I, the new king of Greece, Constantine, became the chief of the regiment.
  • May 7, 1914 - The 1st Nevsky Infantry General Field Marshal Earl Lassi, now His Majesty the Hellenic King's Regiment .
  • July 18, 1914 - Allocated a part of the personnel to form the Roslavl 221st Infantry Regiment.
  • August 6, 1914 - As part of the 2nd Army, General Samsonov crossed the border of Germany.
  • August 16, 1914 - The regiment was encircled, only a small part of the personnel survived, but the banner of St. George was not captured by the enemy, so the regiment was not disbanded and, after re-formation, fought on the Northern Front.
  • 1918 - disbanded.
