The settlement is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the south-western part of the Central Russian Upland , east of the Olym River, at a distance of about 4 kilometers (straight) to the southeast of the Kastornoye urban-type settlement, the district administrative center.
