Shudder (from the English “shiver”) is an American video streaming service that provides horror films and series , thriller and science fiction based on streaming multimedia [1] .

Creation
Shudder began with beta testing in the summer of 2015 in the US, in which users participated by invitation only [2] . By October 2016, Shudder had completely withdrawn from beta testing and spread to Canada, the UK and Ireland [3] [4] .
Shudder is available on Android and Apple mobile devices, on Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Roku, Xbox One, Chromecast devices, as well as by subscription via Amazon Video [5] . Shudder is also available as part of the VRV combo package from August 2017 [6] .
The Shudder website also broadcasts the free, programmed channel shudder.tv.
