Biography
She was born on December 31, 1894 ( January 12, 1895 ) in the village of Gololobovo, Orel Province , in the family of a teacher [1] .
In 1911 she graduated with honors from 8 classes of a female gymnasium in the city of Yaroslavl .
In 1911-1916 she studied at the natural department (in the group of mineralogy and crystallography) of the Physics and Mathematics Department of the Bestuzhev Higher Women's Courses in St. Petersburg. She was left to prepare for teaching.
In 1917, externally passed the exams at Petrograd University (natural branch of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics ), where she received a diploma of I degree.
In 1918 she began working as an assistant in mineralogy and crystallography at the Bestuzhev courses (in 1921 they merged with the university)
She was the first woman assistant professor of crystallography, taught classes in crystallography, goniometry and crystal optics.
At the same time, she worked under the direction of A.E. Fersman , a researcher in the Commodity Commission of the Committee for Military-Technical Assistance, which after the war (1918) was transformed into the Commission of Natural Productive Forces ( KEPS ) at the RAS .
At the Academy of Sciences she worked in:

- Geochemical Institute, Leningrad
- Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Crystallography M.V. Lomonosov , Leningrad, moving to Moscow (1935)

- 1956 - Institute of Geology of Ore Deposits, Petrography, Mineralogy, and Geochemistry ( IGEM ).
In 1916-1927 she studied mainly: topaz , magnesite , talc , barite , glauconite , andalusite , palygorskite , eudialyte and zirconosilicates.
1920-1923, under the leadership of A. E. Fersman, participated in the first Soviet expeditions to the Khibiny and Lovozero tundra .
In 1924, she participated in the Sayan expedition to the Aliberovskoye graphite deposit .
She worked in Transbaikalia, Northern Mongolia (1925), in the Cherry and Ilmensky mountains (1929).
Since 1930 he has returned to Khibiny.
Since 1935, he has been studying the geochemistry of zirconium , hafnium and other rare earths .
During the war, he studies the mineralogy of rare-metal deposits in Northern Kyrgyzstan.
In 1945 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the theme "Zirconium in the Union."
In 1946-1949 he worked in the Central Asian Expedition, where he studied rare-metal and uranium deposits.
In 1958, she headed the mineralogical research in the Khibiny.
In 1967, he was awarded the title of professor .
Died December 6, 1974 in Moscow.
