Biography
Born in a family that received the mantle of the nobility from the king for civil service in the 16th century. His father served in the French Guard .
In 1717 he became a member of the Parliament of Paris , where he made a career. King Louis XV appointed him the first president of the Paris Parliament (1743-1757).
In 1763 he was appointed keeper of seals and vice chancellor (until 1768). He held the first important public position for five years.
