Legislative Election in Benin (2011)

The parliamentary elections in Benin were held on April 30, 2011 after the postponement of the election date from April 17, 2019 [1] [2] . As a result, the Kauri Force party for the resurgent Benin, which included the allies of President Thomas Boni Yaya , increased its representation in parliament by 6 seats. This consolidated Yaya’s victory in the March 2011 presidential election , although his runner-up opponent Adrian Ungbeji challenged the results of those elections [3] .
