Biography
He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Railways (1927).
He worked at the Central Research Institute of Industrial Structures (TsNIIPS), organized a laboratory for stone structures in 1932-1959. led it.

Under his leadership, for the first time in Soviet science, theoretical foundations, calculation methods and design standards for stone building structures were developed.
