Biography
Jim Bloom’s career in the film industry began when he worked with George Lucas on American Graffiti . Shortly thereafter, he became an assistant director working with many well-known directors, including Francis Ford Coppol on the film Talk , Robert Altman on the film Thieves Like Us , Sam Pekinpa on the film Elite Killers , and Stephen Spielberg on the film Close third-degree contacts ”, Hal Ashby on the film“ The Train Rushes to Glory ”and“ Homecoming, ” Matthew Robbins on the film“ Summer in Search of the Corvette ” and Phil Kaufman on the film“ The Invasion of the Body Snatchers ”.
