Biography

In 1887, after graduating from the Vladimir Kiev Cadet Corps, he entered the service. In 1892, after graduating from the Kiev Military School , he was promoted to second lieutenant in the II category and released to the Crimean 73rd Infantry Regiment . In 1896 he was promoted to lieutenant , in 1900 to the staff captains , in 1904 to the captain .

Since 1914, a participant in the First World War , lieutenant colonel , in 1916 he was promoted to colonel . Since 1917, the commander of the 653rd Peremyshl Infantry Regiment.

The highest order of April 24, 1915 for courage was awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree [1] :

 For the fact that during the assault on the Sdlin group of forts Przemysl from September 24 to 25, 1914, under heavy enemy fire broke through artificial barriers 

By the highest order of August 4, 1916, he was awarded the St. George Arms for courage [2] :

 Because, being in the 75th Infantry Regiment of Sevastopol, on December 13, 1914, in a battle near the village of Lobatov, commanding two battalions, he attacked the enemy at heights 633 and 639, which constituted an important strong point, occupied these heights and kept them behind him. At the same time captured 3 officers and about 100 lower ranks 

After the October Revolution in 1918 in the Army of the Ukrainian State , commander of the 1st Serdyutsky Pedestrian Regiment of the Separate Serdyutsky Division .
