Mshichino is a village in the Bezhanitsky district of the Pskov region of Russia . It is part of the rural settlement Bezhanitskoe .

Geography

The village is located in the south of the central part of the Pskov region, within the Bezhanitskaya Upland , at a distance of about 17 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west-south-west (WSW) from the urban-type settlement Bezhanitsy , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 161 meters above sea level ^[2] .

Climate

The climate is characterized as transitional between typically marine and continental with high humidity ^[3] .

History

Until 2010, the settlement was part of the now abolished Makhnovsky volost , from 2010 to 2015 it was part of the rural settlement of Porechenskoye .
