History

Oldest story

The prehistoric settlement of the place is illustrated by a grave on a hill in the site of today's school. Found bowls of polished ceramics and stone tools come from the Neolithic, the younger Stone Age (5000-3500 years BC).

Middle Ages

The beginning of the medieval settlement of today's village is not confirmed by historical sources. Later, at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, a house of gentlemen was built on the Labe along the cobbled white sand of the island.

Liebekhov entered the history by a record of 1311 (1316) with reference to the knights of the Dominicovs ( Czech. Dominovi ) from Liebekhov ( German . Lubiechowa) with their sons Wenceslas and Yurzata ( Czech. Jurzatou). Liebech obtained possessive suffixes in the personal name Lubech ( Czech L'uběch) and meant Liebehov („L'uběchův, Liběchův) courtyard. From the liberation of Liebochau arose the later German form named Lieboch (from 1720).

At the beginning of the 15th century, Liebekhov belonged to the Shkops family from Oak. Heinrich from Oak was a friend and protector of the preacher Jan Hus . In this regard, it should be noted that in the literature Gusovskoye stay at the Liebekhovskaya fortress can be considered fictitious. Since 1430, the Liebekhov estate was alternated with the owners.

Since 1438, Liebekhov was in the possession of the Lords of Liebekhov, from 1455 or from 1477 it was called the "coat of arms of a half-deer". Half the deer in the jump also became a local heraldic figure.

Renaissance

  • In 1543, Wilhelm Berzhkovsky of Shebirzhov was mentioned.
  • In 1583, the owner, the Silesian nobleman Kashpar Belvits of Nosswitz, died, and with his wife Eva was buried in the church of St. Havel.
  • After them in 1603, the Liebech lands belonged to Anna Belvich from Stampach.
  • In 1615, the name of John Christopher, the knight of Belvik from Nostwitz, was mentioned.

The old fortress was rebuilt in the Renaissance. The fortress was surrounded by a wide moat. In 1623, a fortress on a hill resembles a church. In 1621, a plow yard, a vineyard, a mill, a brewery and sheepskins were registered in the castle. In that year, the estate was occupied by Magdalen Belwich, married to Georg Malovets from Khynov. After her early death, George in 1643.

In 1654, Hyacinth Villany built a stone chapel of the Holy Spirit in a vineyard above the river, to this day, where he was buried later. His grave with an inscription was discovered by Wait's workers in 1823, but they destroyed the tombstone with careless handling.

Since 1945

In the years 1945-1946 families of German nationality were forced to leave the village (more than 50% of the population). Exempted property has been settled. The administrative relations of the village and Duboy (Czech. Dubou) changed after the Second World War, Liebekhov came under the control of Miller . The area of the municipality has been expanded by neighboring ones.
