History
The street was laid in 1902 , originally under the name Plettenberg ( Latvian: Pletenberga iela , German Plettenbergstraße ) [4] - in honor of Walter von Plettenberg , master of the Livonian Order in 1494-1535. In 1923, the street received its modern name; there were no other renames.
Initially, Kishesera street began from the Riga-Milgravis railway line (from the present Brasov bridge ), but in 1932 [5] (according to other sources - in 1937 [4] ) the western part of Kishesera street was assigned to Gauyas street .
