Abdurakhman Baimukhametovich Nurbaev ( Kaz. Adhakhman Baimukhametuly Nurbaev ; born 1926 ) is a Soviet Kazakh political and statesman.

Biography
He was born on August 18, 1926 in the village of Ilyich (now Akbulym ) of the Dzhambul (now Zhambyl ) region of the Kazakh SSR.
During World War II he worked in the rear. After graduating from high school in 1943, he worked at the Zhambyl sugar factory, then taught geography at an eight-year school in the village of Zhasorken, Zhambyl region.
In 1944-1946, Abdurakhman served in the state security organs of the Kazakh SSR in the criminal police department. In 1946-1949 he worked as an executive committee, then was a secretary and instructor of the Komsomol regional committee. In 1949-1951 he studied at the school of investigators of the city of Leningrad . In 1951-1959 he worked as an investigator in the prosecutor's office and internal affairs departments of the Kyzylorda and Zhambyl regions.
Then Abdurakhman Nurbaev was engaged in responsible work in the Zhambyl regional executive committee and the southern regional party committees of the region. In 1966-1971 - Chairman of the trade union committee of workers in transport, highways and communications of the Zhambyl region. In 1971-1980 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Zhualynsky District Council of the Zhambyl Region, in 1980-1986 - Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Regional Consumer Union.
Five times he was elected as a deputy of the regional council.
He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals and many diplomas of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR.
