History
Initially, the street was called Pinskaya, since it led towards Pinsk and was the eastern part of the road between Pinsk and Brest . The street was first mentioned in the middle of the 16th century, in a document on the allocation of a plot on it to the court jeweler of Queen Bona Sforza . According to the revision of 1563, there were 78 courtyards, of which 25 were in the possession of the Catholic clergy. The name “Pinskaya” was preserved until the German occupation of 1915, when the street was renamed East. During the possession of Poland (1921-1939) it was called May 3, according to the date of the adoption of the first Polish constitution . With the inclusion of Kobrin into the USSR, it became known as Pervomayskaya [1] .
