Education
In 2000, he graduated with honors from the history department of the National Pedagogical University named after Mikhail Drahomanov [3] with a degree in history and law. In 2003 - graduate school of the same university
Career
He worked as an assistant consultant to the People's Deputy of Ukraine, a teacher in high school, a teacher at the university, a specialist analyst in a commercial structure, and a columnist for the newspaper Tovarishch [4] .
From 1997 to April 2008 - member of the Socialist Party of Ukraine . He was the secretary of the district, Kiev city party committees [5] , first deputy head, head of the Union of Young Socialists of Ukraine (since July 2005 ), member of the Political Council and Political Executive Committee of SPU.
In the winter of 2000-2001 - the commandant of the tent camp on Independence Square during the campaign " Ukraine without Kuchma " [6], "In 2002 - one of the activists of the action" Rise, Ukraine! "
In 2005 - 2007 - People’s Deputy of Ukraine. He became the youngest people's deputy [7] of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada IV [8] convocation. In 2006, he became the first Ukrainian MP to open a blog on LiveJournal [ significance of fact? ] . He worked in the Committee on Family Affairs, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism.
On December 14, 2018, Filindash resumed his political activities and headed the Kiev organization of the Nashi party [9] .
Eugene Filindash is the author of the book “Ukraine is not Europe”. The book was published in April 2019 and is a study on the civilizational identity of Ukraine and Ukrainians [10] [11] .
