The Cromford Textile Factory [1] ( German Textilfabrik Cromford ) is a former textile factory in the Rhine city of Ratingen ( North Rhine-Westphalia ), founded in 1783 by Johann Gottfried Brugelman; in the building of the first factory in the mainland of Europe today there is a branch of the industrial museum LVR-Industriemuseum; is a monument of architecture.
