Aziz Alpoud ( Azeri Əziz Alpoud ; July 27, 1895 , Kazakh district , Elizabeth province - June 17, 1988 , Ankara , Turkey ) real name Mir Abdulaziz Mir Seyfeddin oglu Seyidov ( Azerbaijani Mir ербbdüləziz Mir Seyfəddin oğlu Seyidov ) - Azerbaijani lawyer , Head of Railways in the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic , member of Azerbaijani emigration.

Biography
Aziz Alpoud was born on July 27, 1895 in the Dilijan Magal of the Elizabeth province . His father was Mirseyfeddin aha Shirvanly, a lawyer by profession. He knew Russian , Persian , Arabic well and therefore also engaged in the activities of a translator. He is also the author of the book “Uşaq həzinəsi”. Mirseyfeddin aga Shirvanly underground fought for the liberation of the people, he was also awarded the Ottoman Sultan, who set the medal [1] . In 1905, Aziz Alpoud went to the first classical lyceum of Tiflis to receive an education. Here he studies Latin , German , Russian , French . This period coincides with the Armenian-Tatar (Azerbaijani) clashes in the Caucasus.
In 1917 , after the overthrow of Nicholas II , national liberation movements began. Aziz Alpoud at that time was the head of the "Organization of Caucasian Turkic-Muslim students." He speaks on the kurultai in the Ismailia building and meets there Nasib-bek Yusufbeyli . In 1918 , after the declaration of independence of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, Aziz Alpoud became the head of the railways in the state [2] . He was one of those who, even during the ADR period, proposed switching to the Latin alphabet. Alpoud at that time was a member of the Ahrar party [3] .
In anticipation of the occupation of Azerbaijan by the Bolsheviks, Aziz receives a call from a friend Sonya. She tells him: “The Russian army is approaching Baku , I'm afraid something will happen to you” [4] . After the occupation, Alpoud remains in Baku . At this time, Enver Pasha came to the city and met with the people. Aziz sees him and leads a dialogue. Not resigned to the occupation, Aziz Alpoud is fighting underground and planning plans for an uprising and liberation of Azerbaijan. With his help, Nagi-bek Sheikhzamanly emigrates from the country. The day before October 31, on which it was planned to raise an uprising, Alpoud was arrested and taken to the Special Department. Here he is sent to prison and is in custody. It is decided to send Aziz to exile in Siberia [5] . Brother Ali saves him from exile and he returns to Baku . Then he marries his friend’s sister, Rugie, and he gives birth to a daughter named Ismyat. However, living in Baku was dangerous and therefore Alpoud sent to Iran, first to Enzeli , then to Rasht . He also manages to bring his family, but due to financial situation sends them back to Baku . From Iran, he decides to go to Turkey . Aziz Alpoud sets off on his bicycle of the German brand Brennabor on September 23, 1925 . It travels 2,000 kilometers and reaches Trabzon . Alpoud decided to go to Germany to obtain a technical education [6] . In Turkey, he meets with Nagi-bek Sheikhzamanli, who helps him leave the country [7] .
In Germany, Aziz Alpoud works as a tanner, and later joins the Freiberg Tannery Institute. Then he meets a girl named Ilse-Maria and marries her. She accepts Islam and changes her name to Ayten. From this marriage, he gives birth to a daughter, Guler, and sons, Ohyai and Gökça. After returning to Turkey, he takes up positions and works in several factories. Ahmed-bey Agaoglu also helps him in finding a job. At this time, he contacts the rest of the Azerbaijani emigrants. Alpoud is in correspondence with Abdurrahman Fatalibeyli and Jeyhun Hajibeyli . Alpode defends his doctoral dissertation under leatherworking and writes several books on the subject. He writes and writes articles in the Azerbaijani magazines Türk izi, Mücahit [7] . Once he is seen with Mustafa Kemal Ataturk . Aziz Alpoud died on June 17, 1988 in Ankara [8] .
