Serik Baiseituly Akylbay ( Kaz. Serik Baiseitіly Aқylbay, born January 12, 1949 ; Dzhezkazgan ) is a Kazakhstani statesman and politician. Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2005—2017).

Biography
Serik Baiseituly Akylbay Born on January 12, 1949 in the city of Dzhezkazgan.
In 1980, he graduated from the Law Faculty of Karaganda State University with a degree in law.
In 2007 he defended the academic title of candidate of legal sciences.
Labor Activity
He began his career in the specialty in 1980 as an intern, attorney at the Turgai Regional Bar Association.
From 1981 to 1983 - Head of the legal consultation of Derzhavinsky district of the Turgai region.
From 1983 to 1988 - Judge, President of the Derzhavinsky District Court of the Turgai Region.
From 1988 to 1990 - Chairman of the Tselinograd City Court.
From 1990 to 1992 - Deputy Chairman of the Turgai Regional Court.
From 1992 to 1996 - acting Chairman, Chairman of the Turgai Regional Court.
From 1996 to 1997 - Chairman of the Board of Economic Affairs of the Turgai Regional Court.
From 1997 to 1998 - Judge of the Akmola Regional Court.
From 1998 to 2002 - Judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2002 to 2005 - the Prosecutor of the Karaganda region.
From 2017 to the present - Chairman of the Republican Public Association “Kazakhstan Union of Lawyers”.
